Preschool is a time for children to:

1. Learn to feel comfortable in a place other than their home.
2. Learn to feel safe, secure, and comfortable around adults other than their parents.
3. Learn to follow directions and routines.
4. Learn how to play with others, how to share, how to negotiate conflicts, and how and when to ask for help.
5. Learn that “learning” is fun!
