Disciple I led by Pastor Chris (BUMC TBD)
Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (Begins September 11)
This 34-week study covers the entire Bible (Old and New Testaments), following the biblical story from creation to the Revelation. Disciple study draws upon the work of scholars, personal Bible reading and study of participants, and dynamic group discussion.
Disciple III led by Pastor Carol (First UMC Library)
Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (Begins September 5 )
In this 32-week study, participants will read the major and minor Old Testament prophets, with the exception of Daniel, and will read the thirteen letters traditionally attributed to Paul. The prophets and Paul are continually calling hearers and readers back to their God and to a sense of who they are as a people.
Disciple IV led by Chris Streed (BUMC Room 111)
Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Begins September 13 )
This 32-week study dives into the Gospel of John, Wisdom writings in the Old Testament, and the book of Revelation. Together the class explores the metaphors and images in these particular portions of scripture and how they inform today's understanding of faith.
Practical Christianity for Men

Open to men of all ages, Practical Christianity for Men is a Saturday morning study group that offers opportunities for faith development, meaningful outreach
Women of the Word (WOW)
Thursdays, 9:15-11:30 a.m. in the Parlor
All women are invited to gather as Women of the Word on Thursday mornings for fellowship, bible study
Meets during the school year (late August through May)
All moms are invited be a part of Mom’s Group, which gathers each Wednesday in an atmosphere of fellowship, encouragement
