Have you wanted to join the choir but just can’t find the time to get to rehearsals on Thursdays? Or maybe you like singing with a choir but can’t stand those stuffy, hot robes? Have we got a deal for you! In the month of February, Black History Month, we are featuring three anthems by acclaimed composer and arranger Moses Hogan:
February 12: I Want Jesus to Walk With Me

February 19: Walk Together Children

February 26: Great Day
(listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r3BkuxjD6k&index=4&list=PLso2MinpijeRgaIN1ju3n1I6XIN0VmtkF)
To make this a little more accessible for guests to join us, we are holding extra rehearsals following the 9:30 service on 1/29, 2/5 and 2/12. Anyone is also welcome to join us on Thursdays at our regular rehearsals where these pieces will be rehearsed from 8:15 pm – 9:00 pm. And finally, we won’t be wearing any robes for all of February–just simple black and white! So now you’re out of excuses; just bring yourself and your enthusiasm, and we’ll provide the sheet music and worship experience! Our choir loft holds 35-40 singers so there’s plenty of room for you to join us!
