Ana Kelsey-Powell
Director of Youth Ministries
Ana Kelsey-Powell was raised in the Chicago area, the oldest daughter of two United Methodist ordained elders. She grew up in the church and has spent the majority of her adult life working for churches or church-related non-profits. A graduate of Yale Divinity School (MDiv ’21), Ana is passionate about womanist theology, the intersections of theology and popular culture, and the importance of spiritual formation and biblical literacy. Ana is deeply committed to social justice initiatives, and holds particular concern for immigration reform, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, antiracism work, and reproductive justice. When not working, you can find Ana nerd-ing out about her latest tv and film obsessions, reading for fun, singing, bowling badly, cooking well (her first professional degree), and spending time with her loved ones, both human and canine.
